Tomsk SMEs presents their products at the International Gas Exhibition IRGS TEH 2019 in Iran

The exhibition space of 20,000 square meters was divided into thematic areas: field work, gas drilling and gas output, supply and storing of natural gas, gas separation and distribution technologies, as well as software and industrial automation and industrial automation; industrial safety and environmental protection, etc.

Last week, the delegation of Tomsk SMEs returned from the International Gas Exhibition IRGS TEH 2019, which was held in Tehran at the new Shahr-e-Aftab exhibition center.

The exhibition space of 20,000 square meters was divided into thematic areas: field work, gas drilling and gas output, supply and storing of natural gas, gas separation and distribution technologies, as well as software and industrial automation and industrial automation; industrial safety and environmental protection, etc.

Representatives of ministries and companies from Iraq, Mali, Oman, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Iranian companies, specialized in the field of oil and gas production also took part in the exhibition.

The Tomsk delegation included representatives of 6 SMEs and some representatives of the Biological Institute of TSU.

The delegation from Tomsk presented products and services for the oil and gas sector, held a series of negotiations with Iranian companies and organizations, CCIs and Associations of Oilfield Services Enterprises. The Tomsk delegation attracts serious interest of local media. The products and developments of the Tomsk companies were highlighted by Iranian organizations such as The Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), Society of Iranian Petroleum Industry Equipment Manufacturers (SIPIEM), Tehran CCI, Association of Oil Drilling Companies, Association of Exporters of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products, Association of Oil and Gas Equipment Builders, Association of Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Engineering Services, Association of Engineering Services and Construction (oil and energy), the Iran Oil Federation , etc.

The busy business program at the exhibition and in the offices of Iranian companies, the Tehran CCI, the Russian trade office in Iran with the participation of the trade representative Rustam Zhiganshin, meetings at the collective stand with representatives of PJSC Gazprom in Iran, made a good impression for the prospects of Tomsk products in this interesting market.

Evgeny Nikolaev, the representative of SIAM, says: “We have great interest in the oil and gas industry of Iran, which has a rich history. Our participation in the exhibition at the difficult time for Iran demonstrated to the partners the seriousness of the Tomsk SMEs` intentions. Participation in the exhibition allowed us to see a number of interesting areas for cooperation with Iranian partners”.

Iran was very interested in the products of SIAM, TOMKO, technology of AEROSCHUP company, services of Tomsk Oil and Gas Drilling company, proposals of «Asterol» company, and others. The results of the business trip were highly appreciated by the delegation. Negotiations and exchange of proposals are ongoing.

The event was organized by the Tomsk CCI jointly with the Business Development Fund, the Administration of the Tomsk Region and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as part of the national project for the development of SMEs.
