Tomsk and Vietnam business strengthens business cooperation

Business delegation from Vietnam was invited to visit the Tomsk Region by the Tomsk CCI, the Business Development Fund and the Administration of the Tomsk Region.

Business delegation from Vietnam was invited to visit the Tomsk Region by the Tomsk CCI, the Business Development Fund and the Administration of the Tomsk Region.

The delegation included representatives of companies, interested in importing Tomsk products and technology solutions, as well as travel companies interested in organizing tours from Vietnam to Siberia.

During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the history of Tomsk, its educational and innovative potential, visited LLC Animatronic, CJSC Center of Precise Machining Process, LLC Travel Agency Infocenter, LLC Center of Corporate Medicine «Global», a special economic zones of technology-innovative type «Tomsk», held meetings and negotiations with the resident enterprises of the special economic zones of technology-innovative type «Tomsk» - LLC Elcomplus, LLC Solagift, Resurs-Komplekt, Ltd.

On August 29, 2019, the Tomsk CCI held presentations of the economic potential of our region and investment projects and organized the contact exchange of Tomsk entrepreneurs with representatives of Vietnamese companies. Within the framework of the meetings and negotiations, the companies reached preliminary agreements on the supply of Siberian wild herb products and ice cream to the Vietnam market, also on development of projects in the field of international tourism - sending business groups from Vietnam to the Tomsk Region.

Marina Uskova, president of the Tomsk CCI said: “The Vietnamese side showed great interest in Tomsk developments. During the meetings and negotiations, a number of agreements were reached on the supply of Tomsk products. We hope to conclude export contracts and increase the export of Tomsk products to this country”.

The visit mission of the delegation from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was organized by the Tomsk CCI jointly with the Export Support Center, Business Development Fund, the Administration of the Tomsk Region and the Ministry of Economic Development of as part of the national project for the development of SMEs.
