In a word, they strengthen business ties between Tomsk and Uzbekistan companies, establish new contacts, and conclude agreements.
The Uzbek business has counter interest in the Tomsk region. In late September, a delegation of Uzbek business representatives who arrived in our region to establish contacts with industrial enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses visited Tomsk. The delegation included representatives of Uzbek enterprises and organizations interested in importing Tomsk products and technologies.
Eastern guests paid a visit to the Special Economic Zone of the technology-innovative type, where they held talks with its residents, also visited Biolit, Fizteh-Energo, the city enterprise Tomskvodokanal, the private technopark DI group, etc. Meetings, negotiations and products presentations were attended by about two dozen representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the Tomsk region.
The key event of the business visit was the contact exchange, which was held in the conference hall of the Tomsk CCI and brought together more than two dozen local entrepreneurs.
“The products of Tomsk companies aroused great interest among our businessmen,” says Ulmas Jalilov, director of the delegation, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship Promotion at the CCI of Tashkent. - We especially liked the products of Biolit LLC, Fizteh-Energo, Solagift, Dunes International Economic Center and others. Upon returning to Tashkent, our businessmen intend to continue specific negotiations."
The participation of Tomsk small and medium enterprises in business negotiations with business representatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan was organized by the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the assistance of the Business Development Fund, the regional department for the development of innovative and entrepreneurial activity and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as part of a national project for the development of small and medium enterprises.
