From October 13 to 17, a business trip of representatives of Tomsk small and medium-sized businesses to the Kyrgyz Republic took place

The purpose of the visit, which was organized by the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the framework of the Export Support Center, is the participation of our business in events aimed at establishing business cooperation between Kyrgyz and Tomsk companies. The Tomsk delegation included the following companies: LLC Antares, LLC NPO Argelit, LLC K Group, and LLC Telebiz.

This visit was very successful and received wide resonance in the Kyrgyz business community. The Tomsk CCI formed a delegation on the principle - which of our products and technologies is the most interesting to the Kyrgyz economy. This country is now actively developing and building up, therefore, information technologies, cable products, and the food industry are most in-demand there.

“Tomsk citizens were received at a very high level,” continues Eduard Belyaev, “we visited the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, business development institutes, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association of Young Entrepreneurs, visited the Karakol Free Economic Zone, a number of Kyrgyz enterprises and much more. During the trip, we had a lot of interesting negotiations with local companies.

Advisor to the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubat Rakhimov issued personal recommendations to each member of our delegation, which greatly helped in working with local entrepreneurs. The trip operator from the Kyrgyz side introduced us to some of the nuances of doing business in this country, which was very useful for us. How to negotiate better, how to build personal communications, how to better position yourself in the Kyrgyz market and how to find business partners.

At the CCI of the Kyrgyz Republic, Tomsk citizens made a presentation on the economic potential of the region, discussed the status and interim results of bilateral cooperation, and the most promising directions for their development. And in negotiations with the management of the Karakol FEZ, it turned out that working with it is of great interest to Russian small and medium-sized enterprises that intend to export their products to third countries."

All Tomsk citizens were very pleased with the trip, explaining this by the fact that they received much more than they originally expected. For example, the mission turned out to be very successful for the K Group company, the products of which were very popular, and there was an actual line up for their representative. There was also some serious interest in water purification technology from the company "Argelit", ice cream from "33 penguins."

The participation of Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises in a business mission to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan was organized by the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the assistance of the Business Development Fund, the regional department for the development of innovative and entrepreneurial activities and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as part of a national project for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
