The new resident of SEZ Tomsk will produce cosmetics with xenon
Сosmetics manufacturing company Xeolab become a new resident of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Tomsk; it plans to develop and produce cosmetics with xenon addition, thus expanding the range of cosmetics, and to enter the Russian market with it/
Earlier, it was reported that after the cancellation of a number of federal tax benefits and increased contributions to social funds for companies not operating in the field of information technology, SEZ Tomsk faced an outflow of residents. From 2018 to 2020, their number dropped first to 45, and then, as of March 2021, to 39. Last year, just one company became a resident of the zone.
"The new resident of the SEZ Tomsk is Xeolab company <...> working in the segment of care cosmetics... (The company) has already signed a contract for the development and production of cosmetics with xenon with Xenon Scincare International Inc. (USA). The new resident plans to expand the range of cosmetics and enter the Russian market," informs the press service.
It is noted that xenon is a natural component that is produced from the air. Its addition to various cosmetics provides more effective penetration of active substances into the skin. The dosage of the active ingredients is reduced, thus reducing the risk of side effects. Xenon itself additionally has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and protective properties.
The implementation of the project in the SEZ Tomsk will reduce the company's costs by more than 9 million rubles in five years by applying a preferential rate for the simplified system of taxation and a lower rate for renting premises in the SEZ Tomsk.
