Speaker of the Federation Council supports the project to restart the Made in Russia national brand
Valentina Matvienko, Speaker of the Federation Council, supports the project to restart the Made in Russia national brand. Veronika Nikishina, General Director of Russian Export Center (part of VEB.RF), came up with such an initiative during the meeting with women exporters in the upper house of parliament.
"Made in Russia is a nationwide brand that brings together people around the world who are proud to be Russian and of what Russian companies produce. The Made in Russia logo is a bird, which over the five years has become a talisman for Russian entrepreneurs offering goods and services that take over the world. Today, unique products are produced in Russia, which are in demand in all corners of the planet and which often cannot be replaced. Business sees opportunities to develop and promote products both in Russia and in new markets. That is why Russian Export Center, a leading development institution that support business community solving export and import problems replacing Western products, has started repositioning the Made in Russia brand," said Veronika Nikishina, General Director of Russian Export Center.
“I would like the ‘bird’ to fly high,” Valentina Matvienko, Speaker of the Federation Council, supported the idea.
The Made in Russia national umbrella brand includes domestic companies that produce products to be proud of. It will become a single business platform. This refers to the promotion of the umbrella brand. In this way, each participant will benefit from the activities of the other, while making their own contribution.
For companies, this is not only image and information support, but also preferences to develop business in Russia and abroad, new consumers in the domestic and foreign markets, the opportunity to start selling through pavilions abroad and access to the VEB.RF infrastructure.
